About Me

I am a full-time worker, a part-time cyclist, accidental adventurer and someone who firmly believes that life doesn’t begin when you quit your job and disappear for four months (even post sabbatical!)….it begins when you make space for adventure exactly where you are.

Post my African adventure I now travel in fragments. Stolen weeks, long weekends, carefully curated annual leave miracles, discovering those small pieces are enough to change everything.

I write about:

  • the quiet, real moments of solo female travel
  • the gentle courage it takes to adventure alone
  • the humour tucked inside mishaps and misunderstandings
  • the landscapes that stay with you
  • and the snacks that save your soul at crucial moments

I am not the effortlessly glamourous type of Traveller, I am more the sweaty, determined, slightly confused, but having a wonderful time anyway kind.
